Planning Blog: Getting it Done, While Having Fun
PROPS
The props that I will be using for the music video are cell phones.
COSTUMES
There will be a variety of costumes used for different scenes of the music video. The first couple of scenes and the last scene will introduce a casual outfit to go with the setting. Then getting into the later scenes the actors will be in pajamas as the second scene will take place in a more secluded space.
SCHEDULE
11/16- Plan out the codes and conventions for the music video to make sure everything runs smoothly. This includes the safety precautions, filming locations, costumes, and the backup plan.
11/19- Start storyboarding how I want scenes of the music video to go during the production phase.
11/28- Purchase props for the music video so I can start mapping out a physical version of the music video.
11/29- Start during practice runs to make sure everything looks good on camera before the first day of filming begins.
11/30-12/4 Start filming the music video using the planned out storyboard.
12/5-12/8- Start editing the gathered clips and see how everything meshes together to make sure no scenes need to be filmed over again to improve quality.
12/9- Produce the final music video while smoothing out any rough patches that are potentially found while doing so.
12/10- Upload the music video that I worked super hard on to Youtube.
LOCATIONS
For the music video I will be filming at 2-3 locations depending on how well things play out at the first two locations. The first filming location will be outside of my house in the driveway, later on I will be filming a different scene inside of my house. The second filming location will be inside of a friends house for the last of the scene. The backup location in case the video isn't up to my liking will be a local park around midday when the sun is setting.
SAFETY PLAN
While filming in the driveway of my home there will be a scene where a car is pulling off so I will always be aware of incoming cars to avoid any accidents from happening. If I go to the park I will remain aware of my surroundings to make sure danger is not imminent in the area before I start filming my scene and throughout the course of filming.
BACKUP PLAN
If a situation were to present itself so that I was not able to film at my own home I would film inside a local gym and in the parking lot of a grocery store. If I was to film at the park and it starts raining I would relocate my aunt's house because she has a covering over her backyard which would allow mw to film.
