Planning Blog: Gatorade Commercial
Props
The main and only prop that will be used during this commercial will be a gatorade bottle.
Costumes
During the commercial I will be wearing athletic wear like gym shorts and a tang top. The gym shorts and tang top will have contrasting colors. The gym shorts will be a vibrant color that pops out to the audience while the shirt will be a darker color. The shoes I will also be wearing running shoes and or track spikes. Arm wear may be present to give off more of a sporty feel during the commercial.
Schedule
9/29/21- Plan out the Codes and conventions for the sports drink commercial
9/30/21- Establish when the prop will be brought into play, how lighting will be used, determine a location for filming.
9/31/21- Draw out Storyboard for the 30 second commercial to get all ideas down and visualized.
10/1/21- Film the 30 second commercial and hopefully get the necessary shots.
10/3/21- Start editing the clips together to make everything mesh well together.
10/4/21-10/5/21- Put the final touches in place for the commercial.
Location
The only location in which filming will be taking place is out on the school track. On the track I will have someone else take shots of me running down the track and doing squats and other exercise. Which will help to build up sweat and thirst. When the desired amount of sweat is acheived we will begin taking shots of me drinking the Gatorade in the final seconds of the commercial.
Backup Plan
If the weather does not cooperate on filming day I will resort using the corridor by the media center. If there is not enough room for someone else to film for me in that area we will go under the covering by building 17. Instead of a full on run I will make it a jog to avoid any injury during the filming process. All the steps prior to this one will remain the same
