Commercial Final Product
The brand I choose for this commercial was Gatorade which is the pinnacle of sports drinks for athletes across the world. When I first started developing ideas for this commercial I didn't think they would come out well and it took a while to think of something that would be visually appealing. The filming process took 3 days and those were probably the longest 3 days of my life. I had to film multiple takes of the same scene and on the first day of filming I was only able to get 1 scene done up to a good standard. In all I think it took me around 3-4 hours to film the scenes for the commercial. Which allowed me to be in the shoes of a director and see what's it's like to have to do takes over and over again until you got that perfect shot. The editing process was probably my favorite and least favorite part of this whole project. While editing this commercial I got stressed out multiple times wanted to quit and I even thought about throwing the whole idea out the window and starting over from scratch. That was the bad experience that I had but once I finished and was able to reflect on everything I was able to accomplish being new to editing I actually did really good and enjoyed myself. This commercial really allowed me to put my creativeness out there with something I could see myself getting into in the future. I was even able to make some funny bloopers with the scenes that didn't make the final commercial and I just look back at them and laugh. At the end of it all though this whole experience was great I had so much fun even though there were a lot of struggles to get to this point
