Planning Blog: Safety, Schedule, and Other Information

  PROPS

The props that I will be using for the final task are cell phones. In which actors will be using to hold a phone call and text.

COSTUMES

There will be a variety of costumes used for different scenes of the music video. The first couple of scenes and the last scene will introduce a casual outfit to go with the setting. Then getting into the later scenes the actors will be in pajamas as the second scene will take place in a more secluded space.

SCHEDULE

2/24- Plan out the codes and conventions for the music video to make sure everything runs smoothly. This includes the safety precautions, filming locations, costumes, and the backup plan.

2/25- Start storyboarding how I want scenes of the final task to look during the production phase.

2/27- Start reviewing the script that was made to make sure that no changes want to be made to it.

3/6- Start during practice runs to make sure everything looks good on camera as the first day of filming for the final project.

3/10- Start doing the reals runs for the final task so that I can stay on track to finish on time.

3/17-3/28 Start editing the gathered clips and see how everything meshes to make sure no scenes need to be filmed over again to improve quality.

4/3-4/4- Show the finished product of the final task to parent to see if they think it is good or not.

4/7-4/13- Make any changes based upon any comments that were made about the initial film that I made.

5/15- Upload the final task in which I worked super hard on to YouTube for viewing.

LOCATIONS

For the music video I will be filming at 1 location depending on how well things play out.  The only filming location will be at my home with one scene being outside and the rest being inside.

SAFETY PLAN

While filming at night I want to make sure that there is at least enough light so that they don’t trip over any obstacles that may be present. If I go to the park, I will remain aware of my surroundings to make sure danger is not imminent in the area before I start filming my scenes and throughout the course of filming.

BACKUP PLAN

If a situation were to present itself so that I was not able to film at my own home. I would film at the park, and if it starts raining, I will relocate to my aunt's house because she has a covering over her backyard which would allow me to film whatever I need to film.
