Filming Blog Final Filming Day
So, on the final filming day I was able to get all the scenes for my final task done. I was able to get the priority scenes filmed within an hour which was faster than I expected to get done. Even having time to rerecord some of the scenes that I thought weren’t on par with the rest of the scenes. The scenes I got done were done with some minor difficulties in between .I spent the rest of the time that I had left over for that day thinking about how I was going to improve the quality and aesthetic during the editing process.
Having recorded on my phone for all the scenes in the final task the quality of the scenes was starting to improve. Having recorded on my phone for so long I learned how to incorporate lighting adjustments without affecting the overall view of the film across scenes. Which helped me in recording the final scenes of the final task because I wanted them to be a little darker but have a little background lighting. To portray a sense of evil in the presence of a good spirit which is the main story of the film. With everything in place, I hit record and let the actors do their thing. Once I figured out exactly how to adjust the lighting so that the scene portrayed the image that I wanted but still had an eerie felling the ball was rolling. It took a few takes because the lighting wasn’t panning out well in the first few cuts with the lighting adjustment. Although I was having a little bit of trouble, I was still able to get the scenes filmed with relative ease. Since most of the scenes were just capturing the emotions of actors.
The last day of filming was the easiest out of all the filming days. For this being my last time filming something with some length to it I feel like I did a lot better than my first experience. With this experience I used my new adapted filming skills to get thus little skits done. Now that the filming process is over though I compiled the clips from the first day of filming and the second day and got to work on piecing things together. So that I would be fully prepared for the editing stages and hopefully have piece together and interesting opening sequence for an audience. For the most vital filming project I’ve had throughout this course I feel like I did a lot better than my first experience. Now that the filming process is over though I compiled the clips from the first day of filming and the second day and got to work on piecing things together. So that I would be fully prepared for the editing stages and hopefully have things together when it was time for me to start editing the clips together.
