Today was the first day of editing after the long filming process. The first step I did before fully starting the editing process was making sure that I got the best of every scene. Then I made sure that the editing software that I was going to use had all the contents I needed to create a good-looking opening sequence . So that all my work wouldn’t got to waste because of a bad editing software that doesn’t render the clips properly.  I knew I wouldn't have the time to finish it in one day, so I broke it down into two days. On the first day I would do scenes 1- through whatever number I got because these were the scenes that had a lot of character movement and involved a lot of editing. On the second day I will edit whatever I did not finish today. Scene number 7 will be done on the first day because this is a moving shot transitioning into the first mid shot of the opening sequence so I want to make sure everything flows correctly off this scene into the rest of the sequence.   So, on the final filming day I was able to get all the scenes for my final task done. I was able to get the priority scenes filmed within an hour which was faster than I expected to get done. Even having time to rerecord some of the scenes that I thought weren’t on par with the rest of the scenes. The scenes I got done were done with some minor difficulties in between .I spent the rest of the time that I had left over for that day thinking about how I was going to improve the quality and aesthetic during the editing process.   Having recorded on my phone for all the scenes in the final task the quality of the scenes was starting to improve.  Having recorded on my phone for so long I learned how to incorporate lighting adjustments without affecting the overall view of the film across scenes.  Today I was supposed to be my last day of filming but I had an important event to attend. So, I wasn't able to film all the scenes that I needed to move onto the editing the clips that I filmed. Since I will have to do another day of filming I will have to push back my editing dates or edit the clips within a shorter period of time. Which ideally wanted to start today so that I would have more than enough time to add what I wanted to add maybe even explore some new techniques.I will now do my last day of filming for the final task on March 17th and then start editing soon after that.  Today I filmed 3 scenes for the final task, like the previous scenes I struggled with the lighting on the indoor scenes. After a while I got into a filming groove for the scenes and the quality just kept getting better and better. Today I filmed the middle potion of my final task much like the first day of filming I had little to no problems filming the scenes that I needed to. It was kind of hot today, so I was trying to get the scenes filmed as quickly as possible so that I could get off the sun. When I filmed the first few scenes for the day, I decided to take a break because of how chilly it was outside. I went inside and got some hot tea to drink to warm me up a little bit. After a while I got back to filming the scenes and the quality got a little bit better since I had warmed myself up. Until I finally got the shots where and everything ran smoothly from the acting.   I took another brief break after getting the desired shot for the proceeding scenes Then I hit a wall filming the scene where the figure would be standing in a glass door peeking in on the main actor.   So, on the first filming day I was able to get most of the scenes for my final task done. The first day of filming was much easier than the last time is started the filming process. I was able to get the first 10 scenes done with some minor difficulties in between      Seeing as this is only my third time filming a project, I think I did a pretty good job so far on what I’ve filmed. I spent the rest of the time that I had left over for that day thinking about how I was going to improve the quality for the second half of the filming process.   Having adapted to recording on my phone this time around the quality of the scenes was pretty good in my opinion.  At first, though the videos were kind of dark because of the lighting that I was trying to use and to get some of the scenes done but I was able to adjust it and make it brighter. Scene 1- A panning shot of the house in which the opening scenes of the film will be taking place. Scene 2- A walkthrough of the house will be done until the room in which the actor is located is reached. Scene 3- The main actor of the film will be sitting on a couch in a room with dim lighting on their phone. Scene 4- The main actor will be getting ready to start a call. Scene 5&6- The main actor will start talking to her best friend about making plans for the weekend. Scene 7- The actor will get off of the couch and be standing up in the middle of the living room while still on the phone. Scene 8- The actor is pacing back and forth in the living room waiting for her friend to come back to the phone so they can continue their conversation. Scene 9- The unidentified entity will be introduced into the film as it approaches the house in which the main actor lives through the backyard. Font: The opening of credits our film will be in more of a blocky font. Example:  Executive Producer: Mr. Leo Contrast: The color of the font will be red so that it pops out on the black background. Example.  Sound Director- Abigail Mitchell * The sizing of the font for the title will be big and bold in the middle of the frame. Spacing: Leading - Two lines of space above. Tracking - Double spaced between the words. Working Title : My working title for my film will be "The Night That Never Seemed To End’’. * It will be a bold face font. - Titles will be brought onto screen be a wave of blood washing over the black backdrop. The titles will disappear from the screen by dripping as if they were made from blood  - The title will disappear on the screen after 4 or 5 seconds.
